70,000 people sing National Anthem in Lahore – Genius World Record

Around 70,000 people gather at Hockey Stadium near Qaddafi Stadium to break world record of mass ‘national anthem’ singing.
The Sports Board Punjab said that at least 70,000 people have attempted to create a world record of singing the national anthem during the opening ceremony of the Punjab Youth Festival 2012 here at the National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the event.
Earlier on Thursday night, a complete dress rehearsal of the opening ceremony was held at the venue.
The women were given the time from 11am to 3pm to complete their assigned work.
Around 25,000 students will gather here again on October 22 to make the biggest flag ever in the world.
Officials said that the team of the Guinness Book World Records will be here till October 23 and observe the happenings.
